I know someone that has been on probation for felony forgery and the probation officer did the job a little too well and scared the person so they never went back to see the p.o. this person had been on the run for a few months, and has finally been caught. This is a Georgia law case, what could the family expect in terms of punishment?

In Georgia, most likely 3 to 6 months of either jail or prison, then placed back on probation.
But if in some smaller south GA, areas, they may give a longer prison time since the person, disregarded and did not care to respect the rules.
