I was wondering if its illegal for a 13 year old to date a 15 year old (or 14 year old to date a 16 year old). My family says it's not illegal, but I'm still confused.

There are no laws that govern dating aside from the rules your parents put down. There are laws regarding sex though.

Do your parents let you date at 13?

Its not illegal but in my opinion, it might be kind of weird but my parents are 4 years apart so I guess it diesnt really matter

Your parents are adults.That matters. It is about parental permission.

A 2 year difference is not a lot even at these ages. When both parties are adults an age difference matters even less.

There are no laws on dating at that age.If your parents allow you to date that is fine.But there are laws on the sex age. That is all the info I can give you.
