Hi, I have been taking birth control and I have stopped taking it because I have gained so much weight. The following month I didn't have my period. I took 10 Pregnancy tests and they all said negative and I don't feel pregnant so I don't think it's that. I wanted to see if my pills threw me off since it was the skip two months method of pills or if it's cancer or anything else serious.

I stopped taking the pill last year for the same reason. It took about 5 months for me to have regular periods again. Some months I had no period at all and other times I had a period every couple of weeks.
I worried too but honestly try not to... just remember that the pill just filled your body with artificial hormones... it may take a while for it to get back to normal.
