can someone with asthma have Precordial Catch Syndrome also?
Can some one with asthma also have precordial catch syndrome?
I am 19 and have asthma, mostly controlled but still acts up every now an then. I also have some of the symptoms of precordial catch syndrome. I have:
    Sudden onset
    Stabbing/ Sharp pain
    Pain upon movement
Pain upon breathing in or out
Pain last for 30 seconds to 3 minutes (feels like forever)
Dull ache after the pain is gone
    Ripping sensation when breathing deeply
No other abnormal physical findings (nothing else is off just that)

Its really random, hurts. It always on the left side of my chest all most feel close to my heart. Asthma meds DO NOT work to ease it or help it.. this started when I was around 8-9 years old.
I just wish to know is it possible and if so could it cause some of my asthma attacks? Ty for any answers. -Storm

Have you approached your doctor with these symptoms? You know we can't diagnose anything here right? There is always too little info and not enough experience.
