What is the best way to by-pass the RIO (Reverse Implement Option) button on a John Deere LT160 garden tractor?

Hi,
Not supposed to answer this as it is a safety concern, but let me explain options. There are only two wires, so either you unplug them and you are done or you tie them together and you are done. Only two choices.
