My daughter is 18 with a 9 month old baby who lives on her own she has recently moved house but expects everyone else i.e.. Family and friends to do all the work for her whilst she sits playing on her phone.. her attitude is horrendous he shouts at people including her baby. She complains she is tired all the time . She is so nasty no one wants to help her or even see her any more... I have tried hundreds of times to help her with the baby and her house etc but nothing is good enough she is so angry .

Tell her you won't help her anymore because you are tired of being treated like this... then, don't help her.

I agree with odinn7. Send her a text if she won't sit and talk face to face, and tell her that she is going to have to find other resources to help her out.

And there are many, depending upon where she lives, and if she is on public assistance. It might be worthwhile for you to be able to provide a list with phone numbers of organizations that she can call for counselling/parenting classes/subsidies etc.

Time for you to stop. She has to be adult enough now, to support herself, and her baby. You aren't helping her.

I agree, you should leave her alone for a while, she will then realize how much you do for her and begin to 1.respect you more and 2.do more for herself :)
