Hi, I would like to confirm whether I shd start taking folic acid tablets and what's the dosage. I am currently 6 weeks pregnant. My family GP didn't tell me to take folic acid, but I had taken it during my earlier pregnancy. I am in Australia.

If you take regular prenatal vitamins would be getting enough folic acid.
