Why did you left your previous job?

What is 'left'? Do you mean 'leave'?

How do you know if any answer you get online is 'real' or not??
'Previous' means any former job. If you mean 'last' then say so.

I left my last job because... I don't remember why.

I left to move to China, hope that works for you

I retired from my library job.

Joy you have remember your previous job. So how you forgot the reason? It means that you don't want to discuss about this. I'm sure that I'll get real answer.

Wondergirl how do you feel now after retiring?

I remember all my previous jobs. I have had 36 of them in my 66 years of life. The LAST one was years ago and I don't remember which one was LAST. They were all very short term. I've only had 2 jobs that lasted a year. I tend to quit easily. Also, I was self-employed for many years, so although I worked for several people, I consider that one job. I worked for an ex boyfriend and must have quit and gone back about 5 times, but that I consider one job. I do recall the shortest job I ever had: taxi driver. I lasted 3 hours. It was freezing cold and the taxi was spewing exhaust up through the floor and I was choking to death. Next shortest: 3 days torturing mice in a testing lab. I had to stuff nicotine in their mouths, lock them in a collar and muzzle, and write down when they died.

I started my own business(es).
