Sick isn't it. We are so blood thirsty, that no news agency thinks anyone will want to see the nice images... makes me sick.

    Rick,

Thank you :) Thank you so much for sharing.

So beautiful - So true - and So real. That is reality. THAT is our very brave men and women and THAT is the heart of America.

Not a word spoken or a word unspoken could ever take away the pride and love that we have in our hearts or what we know to be the actual truth.

Rick, I thank you again and will cherish these photos in my heart.

Thank you, Rick, for posting these pics. Both my brothers have served over in Iraq - one in the Marines and one in the Army. One of my sister-in-laws has been overseas also - she is in the Army. My youngest nephew just got his deployment orders to go - he is a heliocopter specialist. He leaves tomorrow.

We never see these photos - or seldom see them - because the media just does not have the (cannot put it down here as it might be considered profane) to let the American people and the world know the good our troops are doing. News commentators like Bill O"Reilly would bring these photos to light. Thank you again, Rick, for posting these.

Recent news reports now say that children are being "used" to kill troops in Iraq.

VOA News - US: Iraqi Insurgents Intentionally Kill Children

Children Of Jihad: Financial News - Yahoo! Finance

    That is so sad... :(

Hummm, I guess that wouldn't be inline with Ted Turners political views, now would it? Guess that tells us who owns the main stream media. So, what does that tell us about how much we can trust them?

That's right magprob. Remember that "News" people are for profit organizations. Nowadays it can only be called "news" very loosely speaking.

Sad, though, that one thing is true: They know what viewers will watch, and therefore what will make them money.

We get our "monies" worth. Unfortunately, nothing is as good a value as it used to be! It has gone from left and right to simply a matter of money. The thing is, you would think that the rich folks that own the corporations that supply our industrial military complex government would just love to see these pictures viewed by all, to sort of justify their murder, if you will. I am certain that there are left wingers as well that own civilian defense manufacturing companies, that would love to have them paraded around the media, but alas, they don't. This just serves to confuse me all the more but then again, it must be that the media companies are only concerned with the bottom line more than their personal politics.

Media always focuses on the negative. People in general tend to focus or more captivated by the negative. I think the media has everybody brainwashed.

Your right, there should definitely be more articles and news stories of positives. Of positive being done in the world.

Media focus on negative. People focus on negative, the world becomes more of a negative place.

If the media spent more time on the stories that are more positive I know people would tend to be more positive and it would effect the world in a positive light.

Thank you for sharing those pictures. It is places and websites like these that find that balance between the extremes in the world.

Allheart, is my favorite in she is able to bring balance to everything. Here, between people here and world issues. I do believe it is good to have that balance and sometimes we need people like you Rick and Allheart showing others and myself the difference it makes.

Gosh, I could look at those smiling little faces all day :).

Thanks Joe and **hugs** to you (where's my pictures :)... just kiddn)

I think because of the negative view on things, the media chooses to show us negative. I don't think the media cares what we would like to see. If they did, I think all of us would choose to see these types of pictures as well as the actual truth. That would be a nice change. :)

Most of the media can be a disgrace and such a disservice to all of us. Geez, the weather media can't even get it right! LOL
