A relative in Maryland left me some money. I live in CA. Will I have to pay inheritance tax?

There is NO inheritance tax at the federal level, but not sure about California or Maryland.

How much money?

There is no inheritance tax in CA. MD does have an inheritance tax, but whether you owe anything depends on (a) your relationship to the deceased and (b) the total value of the estate (if less than $1 million then no inheritance tax is due from any heir). If inheritance tax is due it is administered by the Register of Wills in the decedant's county.
