    Thorn in top of hand?
I woke up this morning with a small red pus-filled bump on top of my right hand. I can get it to drain, but it fills back up right away. I cannot see anything in the bump, but I have been gardening the last few days. Since I am type 1 diabetic, I am leery of infections. Just wondering if it would be OK to try to dig and see if it is a thorn in there myself. Thank you!

No, it's not "okay" to "dig" into an infected area to see if there's a thorn embedded under the skin. You need to see a Physician.

"Digging" can cause a very serious blood infection.
