I started my period on the 9th April normal flow for seven days on the 25th April I had sex with my boyfriend we are trying for a baby but today I started my period I would like to know could I still be pregnant?

If you started your period you're not pregnant. While bleeding throughout pregnancy does happen (not the norm) a period does not. Once you are pregnant your period will stop.

If this was a normal period, I'd guess (and that's all anyone can do online) that it wasn't just unexplained bleeding, and you're not pregnant.

Why are you and your boyfriend trying? Why not wait until he's your husband?

Thank you for replying I started my period today well I think it's a period I've been searching online for answers an have come across a lot of answers from women saying they still had there period through out pregnancy so I'm abit confused

The first symptom of pregnancy is a missed period.

No woman has a period once they're pregnant. Do you know what causes your period to occur, and why it stops during pregnancy?

Now, bleeding during pregnancy can happen, but bleeding isn't always a period.

From what you wrote it sounds like you're having your expected normal period, which would indicate that you're not pregnant.
