Hello, my aunt and I fought, because she told me not to post some status and I did but I didn't mean anything by posting it. So she got very mad, she blocked me, and made her kids block me too. I can't see her because I am in another country. And she's very mad. The worst part is that I can't contact her! I want her to forgive me but I don't know what to do, help please. Thank you.

Sarah, what did you mean by posting something you knew would upset your aunt? Was it something personal that could negatively (even if you didn't think so) affect her and her family? Have you removed the offending status?

I don't think you meant to be malicious, but I do think you may not have thought through the consequences of your actions. I am not saying you don't have a right to your own thoughts and feelings or expressing them. But on Facebook you should be careful about what you say/reveal and who might see and be affected by it. In this case your aunt seems to have tried to tell you how it would affect her and now may feel betrayed because you didn't listen. Something like this can take awhile to fade away.

Depending on what was said and just how much of an affect it had on them, it may take awhile. You might ask someone to relay your apology or send it by email or some other form of communication, but she may not respond.

About all you can really do is wait for her to calm down.

Yes I did delete it the second she told me to, but then she blocked me and I couldn't explain that I was sorry and all
