    Probation home visits
If my probation officer said five pm foe a home visit and he failed to show for forty minutes, do I have a right to leave my premises at five thirty, he failed to call to inform me he was late.
I have been given a formal warning, I have been told fifteen minutes is the window they have, true or false?

When I was in college, the rule of thumb was 5 minutes for a graduate student/ instuctor, 10 minutes for an assistant professor, and 15 for a full professor. But I think that was just something we made up to pass the time waiting for them to show up.

False. Wait until the PO shows up. Otherwise you will be "violated".

    Hello M:

I don't know if it's true or not.. What I DO know, is your PO has dominion over your life. Now, that doesn't mean I'd lay down for them. I wouldn't.. But, I'd wait for as long as it took for a meeting..
