    Homestead Ceiling Fans
Anyone have directions for operating the WH 62 wall switch for my Homestead ceilng fan? We bought the house with the ceiling fans and wall switch - I can get the fans on, but it is a mystery how to make them work properly.

    Thanks

Push the reverse button once the fan should slowly come to a stop and then continue to go into the reverse direction even if the fan was in the reverse position the other buttons is a vacation mode which allows the fan to cycle shutdown stop lights come on and all the time continuing to function as if you were home then there is a light button if this switch does not do what I just wrote you then... welcome to the club because the switch which controls the whole fan is dead the company folded several years ago A little bit about your fan (6-2-13) your fan now is 25 years old and cost 550.00 when I purchased it this fan was the rolls Royce of ceiling fans. Today this fan would be 1K Casablanca which I bought 2.5 years ago has gone haywire and I am waiting for new parts from the company in comparison to homestead Casablanca is GARBAGE but that's the next best fan that I've seen Lou
