Hi,

I have a problem with my iPAQ, HP3950 when slot in any SD-Card. The following error message comes on the screen after slot in the card: SD detect error on 4 bit. This message comes on all SD-Cards I slot in. I have tried already soft reset and hard reset the PDA - still the same :( .
The slot and the SD-Cards where working perfectly since almost 3 years without any problem.

Do anybody knew what's the problem or how to repair it.

Sounds like the slot's gone bad. It would probably be prohibitively expensive to repair.

Since you should have it backed up I'd try Clean reseting it.
