    If someone lies
My question is if someone lies saying they are going to live with there aunt just to transfer from one state to another and the receiving state finds out will that person be sent back to the sending state

It is a violation, and it can depend on how and why they find out. But of course in addition is the aunt signing that he is living there?

But yes, he can be sent back to other state, yes, he could be sent back to jail.
Or they may just make him move to aunts house.

Why does he not just list he is living with girlfriend, no law against it.

Unless she was part of the crime, or victim or something. Or unless she has a criminal past. If she does, that makes it worst

OK, this would be a parole violation - he could get time sentenced, additional time, a warning. It's the Judge's decision.

They would check into it first to verify the claim... if proven true they lied on the paperwork... they would get violated, and possibley more time for falsifying legal documents..
