Been having severe lower back pain on right side only for over a month now. Right hip, buttocks, thigh and leg gets numb. Pain is worse at night, cannot sleep because of pain. Should I go to the E.R? I don't have insurance So I've been putting it off but it's not getting better if anything it's getting worse.

If the pain is getting worse, what does that tell you ? Yes, get checked out.

I have been hoping that this would resolve on its own only because I don't have insurance, I will get checked out just wanted some info on what might be causing this pain, thanks for taking time to answer.
