92 honda accord it started stalling.
After readjusting my timing belt on my 92 honda accord it started stalling. It runs smoth and no noice at all but after I run it at the freeway at high speed and I stop at a light or an stop it stalls it starts back up without problem. Did somebody have an issue like this and how can it be fixed??

Socalstarter, did you properly set the tension on the timing belt? Have you check the timing with a timing light? If all of the above checks out, consider replacing the igniter and coil.

I did tension it jut turning the flywheel three teeth to the left my coil and igniter are good I just check them and I think when the igniter or coil are bad then I should have problems to start my car which I can't say. My car starts at the first crank but I will check the time with the gun. Do you have or know any link where shows how to use the gun? Thank u txgreesemonkey

I know the ignition switch is not the problem as I said I have no problems at all to start my car it starts at the first crank so it has to be something else I just don't know what it could be. I checked the timing and it is okay any suggestions will be welcome a.d appreciated thanks

Socalstarter, many Hondas will start and run for awhile with a bad igniter and coil and then suddenly stall. If a strobe light shows the timing is set "spot on," then I would replace the igniter and coil.

Socialstarter, I knew some one who had about a '91 Accord, It Started fine, but would stall in Traffic, It had done this for about a year, I tested at the back of the Ignition switch(opposite the side the key goes into), will have to remove bottom half of shroud to access.
On this model Accord, The Ignition, B+, Start, Acc can also be accessed above the fuse panel.
