HI, I want to know what the possibilities are that I am pregnant, My period is 5 days late and I have a lot of white discharge and slight cramping. I have taken at home pregnancy tests but they are all negative, if I go to a doctor will they be able to tell me anything besides what an hpt can?

You are testing too soon. The soonest you should test is two full weeks after a missed period. This is because the test looks for a particular hormone called Hcg which is not present in adequate amounts to test until at least two weeks after the missed period.

A doctor cannot diagnose pregnancy any sooner. Detecting pregnancy by symptoms so early on is not reliable at all so don't even go there in your head. There are a lot of reasons to be late.

Wait another week and a half and retest using first morning urine.

It's too soon to test. Like dontknownuthin stated, you should wait until you're at least 2 weeks late for your period before testing. Even then, false negatives are possible.

When you do test, test using first morning urine, it's more accurate.

If the test at 2 weeks is negative, wait until your next period is due, and if you miss it, retest or see a doctor for a blood test.

Any time you have sex pregnancy is possible, so there's definitely a possibility that you are.
