Kenmore Elite Washer won't turn on
I have a Kenmore Elite washer which worked fine the last time I used it a few days ago... I just went to use it and when I went to select cycle and stuff, none of the buttons light up, like there is no power. The outlet works and plugging the washer elsewhere made no difference. Any suggestions other than tossing this thing? Is there a reset or a possible bad fuse I should check, anything?? Thanks :)

    Diagnostic Guide Link
I found service tech diagnostic guides (PDF format) during an online search. This includes instructions on putting the dryer into test mode in order to check switches, etc. Here are the links:

The same thing happened to me a few days ago. Nothing will light up, but my outlets work fine for other things.

Did you ever figure anything out?

Yes I did. I found the front panel came off, it snapped off and snapped on. I unscrewed 4 screws on the air chambers and vacuumed out. 10 minute job, took me 2 months to find out how.

But Doug, are you talking about a dryer or washer?
