I got told, by a school nurse when I was 12 that I had an eating disorder, and I managed to persuade them never to tell my mum or anything, I never really got any proper help for it and managed to sort myself out when I found out I was pregnant. I'm 19 now and I'm really struggling, my husband doesn't understand and I'm scared to talk to my doctor as he might say I'm an unfit mother. My bmi is within the healthy weight range so maybe my doctor won't think I need help as there is nothing physically wrong? I really am in despair, I have no idea how to mage this nagging, nasty feeling go away!

An eating disorder does not make you a bad parent - you would have to neglect your child, harm your child emotionally or physically, to be a bad mother.

I would explain to your Physician the same way you've explained things here.
