Hi, Im 37 weeks pregnant.. me and my husband had intercourse about a hour ago and right after I started to have some abdominal pain.. really bad pains, like every 4 minutes. What should I do?

Of course you know intercourse at advanced pregnancy should not be attempted the normal way, but doggy style, even then, if it is too rough, then problems occur. I would get somewhere to be checked out if I were you.

Is this not what common sense would tell you to do ?

Intercourse is perfectly normal. And healthy. The peninsula manipulates the cervix and causes a release of oxytocin, the hormone that causes labor. If the contractions haven't stopped in one hour you need to go to the hospital you are scheduled to deliver at to be checked out.
