I am installing a small 600 + SF hunting / fishing cabin on property that I own. The location already has a septic in place, I am pouring a concrete pad on which a small cabin 14x44 will be placed. The cabin is prefabricated and will be delivered and placed on the slab. It has 2x6 floor joists that will be set on top of 4x4 runners down the length of the cabin. This means there will be approximately nine inches from the top of the finished slab to the bottom of the sub floor. I would like to eventually install some plumbing including a toilet, shower, sink, kitchen sink and laundry drain for a W/D combo. Attached is diagram of the plumbing locations and the slab. Can someone tell me what needs to be placed in the concrete prior to a pour. It will be for the future use of the fixtures mentioned.

Here's how a typical bath group roughs in, (see image) Coming out of the slab you will need a 4" stub up for the toilet and two 2" stub ups for the wash basin and the tub/shower.

This is a cabin in the woods with its own water supply and septic system. Do you really thin that a permit will be pulled? I think the wet vent bothers Milo. In his area they vent everything including the family dog. If you wish to get the county involved just give them a call. They'll be happy to collect a permit and inspection fees, Good luck, Tom,

I did obtain a permit to have the structure built as a hunting / fishing camp, but at the time of application I did not include anything about plumbing, and actually at this point it will be a while before I actually install any plumbing, I just want the primary connection pipes to be under the concrete. 2 more questions; there is also a kitchen sink on the other side of the wall from bathroom sink, can they both share the 2" drain line? Second, there is a laundry drain for a future washer in the bathroom, i assume it will need its own 2" line?

Now you're going to hafta call the county and ask if wet venting's allowed. If it is my drawing and your sink drain are good to go. If not then contact us and we'll vent the shower and kitchen sink.

That will require building a washer station, This will vent out the roof and connect to the house main. Good luck, Tom
