    Alcohol test
The last time I drank I had 14 beers and 2 large glasses of red wine, that was 112 hours ago. Will I be clean for an EtG test?

You are going to find out when the results come back.

We however won't help you decide how much you can drink so you can continue. As per the site rules this site is for helping people overcome their addictions... not to help them pass tests so they can continue abusing their substance of choice.

First of all I'm not a substance abuser I was at my parents anniversary and we had fun was all, and I didn't realize I would have to take this to get the job I really wanted, and I don't even drink very often. I was just looking for some insight not criticism, from someone that doesn't even know my situation. I apologize if I sound a bit rude but I was quite offended by that, but would still appreciate an actual answer.

For a job application, with 112 hours passing, you will probably have no problem passing.

That was an actual answer... the test for a job application is far different than one who is under sourt ordered testing from alcohol abuse would take.

The difference is a drunk isn't allowed to have any alcohol... but a job applicant is.

So then why do I think this isn't about a job screening test... oh.. it's because it's the alcoholics that always get so hyper touchy.

I'm the one that has the right to be offended... not you. Your second post you start in while I am a volunteer here that doesn't get paid to listen to abuse from Noobs.

If you had taken the time to read the site rules and terms of service of this site you agreed to... you would see my answer was exactly in-line.

Considering the fact this is an addictions forum... not an Employment forum.

I only considered asking on this forum because I have seen about a dozen similar questions about this EtG test and they all got answers, I'm not sensitive at all. I was just told that the test goes back 80 hrs to 120 hrs and would like to know if I have a chance at passing is all.

We stopped answering those questions for the addicts because it was aiding them in their quest to continue drinking and cheat on tests... purely for that reason.

The only way you would fail a job screening test... would be showing up drunk effectively. They look for people who are habitual drinkers.(will show on the ETG).. and people that don't have the common sense to not drink the night before or the day of the test. But the job screening tests go beyond simply alcohol but include drug screening as well.

I've had to do a number of those over the years for work related requirements.

Had you simply stated that in your original post... you would have gotten a different answer.

Depends on the lab that runs it...

You will most likely get an answer back within the week... like I said... depends on how fast they work and how many tests they are doing... could be even sooner. Longer if they mail the results. But on an employment screening... they may or may not notify you. Since it's the prospective employer paying... I do remember getting notified of a pass a few of the times... but not for all.
