Okay tonight was T.F.C (Teens for Christ) and after it was over I was sitting outside waiting for my mother to come. Well this boy was walking to his car and I said bye, and he was like what are you doing up there, and I was like waiting for my mom and he was like well you shouldn't be out here all by yourself, and I was like well my mom should be here any minute, and he was like still you shouldn't be out here by yourself. So he said well I will wait with you until your mom comes and I was like okay. And like well we have been friends for almost all my life. We have gone to the same church and everything and now he is a senior, and I am a freshman and now I am wondering does he want to be friends, or more than friends?? PLEASE HELP I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO THINK.

You had one sentence without the word "like" in it. Some sentences had multiple "like's". If you want to be taken seriously as a young woman, drop that word from your sentences when you speak and write.

Agreed, a freshman should be past the 'like' and 'like well' stage of talking and writing.

PLEASE understand that we aren't there. How do we know what a guy is thinking? You are the one looking and listening for the tiny clues that indicate what someone is thinking. If you don't notice any, you ASSUME that a boy's motives are just friendly, because otherwise you will make him uncomfortable. Let relationships happen slowly.
You are half of any interaction with another person. You drop tiny clues too. That's how it works. You don't go through life wondering what everyone else is thinking; if you like someone, you give a super nice thanks, or a compliment, or ask him about himself. Without falling all over him, and without acting too cool and casual either. It's an art, but the main rule is to be genuine, be yourself.

Friendly attention is no indication of anything so don't over think this.
