I am buying a home that is on a slab. It has one bathroom and I am contemplating converting one bedroom to a masterbath. I would want to put a toilet in that room right on the backside of the wall from where the toilet is in the bathroom. Is there any whiz bang hardware that will make this easier? If not, then I should have minimal concrete floor to tear up to plumb for the new toilet.

They make a toilet that works off a macerator pump system that would not require you to break open the floor... called the saniflo system.

With that being said, I would discourage you from installing that system only because it is a mechanical system and can/will fail and need to be repaired/replaced every so often! Your best job will definitely be to break up the floor and install everything so that the toilet and other fixtures drain via gravity (i.e. for free! ).
