I have a griswold 3/4 HP jet well pump, not sure if deep or shallow pump (does not say on pump). Well the pump died and I took some fishing line with a weight on the end and a bobber dropped it down and hit water at 23 feet. This is a very old well and no county records avlb. My qustion is do I just replace it with a shallow well jet pump or should I get a deep well Convertible Jet Pump? I do need to do this pretty quick due to no water and 3 kids

If the water table's at 23 feet then a shallow well pump should do the trick. Any ideahow deep the well is? Use the existing lines and you'll be just fine. Good luck Tom
