Last night went to wash hands and no water. Well is in the basement so I went down and could smell the pump burning so turned off the power to the pump and waited until morning so the pump could cool down. This monrning went and checked the pump for prime and it was primed the bladder tank was empty, turned the power back on and nothing the pump did not turn on. What is going on and what should I start checking

If circuit breaker is on and you have power to pump, then pump motor has burned out and needs to be replaced.
