    Nordette
Hi I would like to ask, my guy and I had sex last night, we had protection, its just that we had a foreplay and he ejaculated in my chest and when we are washing it, we got worried that it might run through the vagina... so I became paranoid, so I went to the drugstore and buy nordette, I didn't know that it should be 4 pills for the first dose, I only took 1 around 11am as first dose and when I read blogs in the net it says 4 pills at the same time so I took 3 more pills around 1pm, so when will be the next dose? When will I start counting for the next dosage. And will the effectiveness be affected?

I'm confused. If he ejaculated on your chest, how could it get inside your vagina?

I got paranoid that when we washed my body with soap and water, I even soaped my hands and insert it inside to make sure that there's no chance of semen getting inside.. please bear with me I'm kind of paranoid...

If you washed with soap and water you should be perfectly fine.

If you aren't wanting to be a parent why are you having sex?

I have to add, taking the morning after pill should not be a form of birth control. It's for emergencies, when other birth control methods fail (missed pills, broken condom), not because you're having unprotected sex and don't wish to become pregnant. Using this as a form of birth control is not healthy.

From what you described, there's no way you could become pregnant, so you put yourself through the discomfort, bleeding, etc, of taking the morning after pill, for nothing.

If you're paranoid about pregnancy, you really shouldn't be having any sexual contact at all. If you're going to continue to have sexual contact, use protection (the pill and condoms) but know that even then, pregnancy is possible.

If you're not ready to have a child, you shouldn't be having sex.

There is no form of birth control that is 100% effective. Protected or not, you can still get pregnant. I got pregnant using birth control pills AND condoms not once, but twice. I also had 6 months of chemotherapy after cancer, that was supposed to render me sterile. That was 15 years ago and my youngest child is 11 now.

If you aren't prepared to be a parent, you shouldn't be having sex.

Accept that that's part of taking this medication.

Did you read the side effects of this drug before taking it, or since taking it?
