Guys, would you dance with a girl at prom if she asked you?
If you didn't know the girl or you knew her but not very well, and she asked you to dance, just walked up to you and asked if you wanted to dance, would you say yes?

Depends on whether she came with a date.

In this case, she is single and didn't go with a date.

Well, I don't have a particular him. I'm just thinking any guy who looks like he might not have a date or just isn't dancing. I want to ask several different random guys if they want to dance.

I would love too. Maybe we can do it again later. :)

It wouldn't hurt. Unless the guy went there to just stand around and stare at people, I don't know why he wouldn't dance with a girl who asked him. Unless of course he's a rude jackass.

If neither had a date... I can't see why it wouldn't work.

I know for me, I would accept... actually, I would tend to think the girl was pretty cool to do something unusual like that and approach a guy to dance.

You've asked guys out on dates before - https://www.askmehelpdesk.com/teens/...an-733257.html

I realize from your posts that you are concerned about not having a boyfriend since sixth grade. Some women are just late bloomers.

Who are you taking to the prom?

I don't know why asking a guy to dance would be a problem - I would think the date asking would be a bigger situation.

    Two things:
First, I never mentioned in any of points points that I ever had a boyfreind, but the last time I was asked out was in 6th grade, but I never mentioned that in any of my posts, so I'm a little concerned to how you knew that...
    ... anyway...
Second, I'm not taking anyone to prom. I'm going with a group of friends, and I was thinking of asking any guy who looks like he doesn't have a date if he wants to dance.

At a dance, you go to dance. Why do you have to know them to dance with them

OH! Now I remember, sorry, I apologize (though I have never had a boyfriend)
