    Why does she hate me?
I had this best friend for a long time, and we told each other everything and went around together all the time. Suddenly she's more interested in hanging around with the 'popular girls', and trying to act cool all the time. She doesn't care that it hurts my feelings being ignored all the time. I don't know what to do or if there's even anything I can do but I need some advice. Please help.

Well she's probably just going through a stage trying to "find herself" all of my friends did the same thing. But she will realize that your her true friend. Just have fun and don't worry about it. She will eventually realize what's important to her.

Look I've been through that before I had a best friend we did everything together and then one day she just didn't want to know me anymore. No there's nothing you can do.If she wants to be stupid and dump her real friend for some popular people she not worth that effort.Make new friends show her that your moving on with your life. And if she comes crawling back with her tail between her legs which she most likely will you'll have all the power you can to go away of you can give her a second chance.

On of my best mates is kind of acting like that, its because your used to seeing the real her but now your seeing her acting like something out of a movie. With my friend I think its just a phase, she's trying to act like a girl called Bella out of these books we are reading. Just do what I did and tell her you think she's been acting different and you would like to know why.

I think it might be because she wants to be "popular" too so she ignores the real good people around her. I'm afraid the only thing you can do is meet up with her and just have a one to one conversation about this issue. Give it a few months or years time for her to realise it's her loss.

Seriously... everyone does this. Friends ditch friends for "better friends" who in reality are just a boost to their popularity status. I mean, this started happening with my group of friends as soon as we got into middle school... and I'm a sophomore now and its still happening. There's really nothing you can do to stop it. Either she'll realize what she's doing... or she won't. I mean, if you were good friends before... I doubt she'll keep doing this for a long time... you just need to keep reminding her about the good times you had and how great yalls friendship is. With you reminding her... maybe she'll wake up and realize what's truly important... and that's true friends. Hope you can get through to her.
