There's this guy who I've had a thing for years but he was in a relationship. He then became single but I didn't have the guts to tell him how I felt and some other girl swooped him up. He has now been in a relationship with this girl for about a year.

But then I get a message from him one night and he tells me he likes me. He said he has liked me for a while but didn't have the guts to ask me out when he was single. We both agreed that nothing can happen while he is in a relationship. He says he doesn't want to hurt anyone so the chances of him breaking up with his girl don't look good.

I've been trying to push my feelings to the side but I just can't stop thinking about him. What do I do?

He doesn't want to hurt anyone so he goes behind his girls back to reach out to you. Such cowardice and dishonesty should repel you completely and reject him before you are the one whose back he is going behind.
