This is becoming an obit column
Don't forget we lost Lumpy too.
It usually goes in 3s. Hopefully the Beav still has a lot of years left.
Loved Jonathan Winters in the brief time he teamed up with Robin Williams on 'Mork and Mindy'. It was clear that Williams was the pupil and Winters the master of improv.
Another notable loss this week...
George Beverly Shea Dies at 104; Stirring Singer at Billy Graham Revivals
104.. not a bad run. I'll sign up for that .
I am more familiar with the hymns he sang... including my all time favorite
George Beverly Shea - How Great Thou Art ( 1969 ) - YouTube
When through the woods
And forest glades I wander
I hear the birds
Sing sweetly in the trees;
When I look down
From lofty mountain grandeur
And hear the brook
And feel the gentle breeze;
Then sings my soul
My Savior, God, to Thee
How great thou art
