Why would you take the morning after pill if you are already pregnant? The whole point of it is to stop you from getting pregnant isn't it?

Maybe if you explained the situation a bit more, I may be able to understand your question. What exactly happened?

You do know that you were supposed to take the morning after pill (up to) 3 days after having sex and not after you've missed a period? Might I suggest that you get a home pregnancy test and take it using your first morning urine and/or get yourself to the doctors for a check up. How long has the brown bleeding being going on for? Furthermore, how old are you if you don't mind me asking?

You ned to take the morning after pill within 72 hours of sex, not your period! You are probably getting your period so I wouldn't panic. Ddnt the pharmacist explain what the morning after pill is for?

Some pregnant women get small amount of bleeding, but no one here can tell you if you are pregnant or not. You need to take a test for that. But the morning after pill is not good for pregnant women to take.
