I am a 22 years old female.
I have been feeling pricking/burning sensation while urinating.
I found a fewdrops of blood while wiping after peeing. Initially I assumed this was menstrual, but with no follow up bleeding for a whole day, I am almost sure it wasn't menstrual.
I have had pain in the lower back and abdomen. I have tried washing the area that pains with luke warm water- it doesn't help.
It is getting really annoying and is increasing on the pain scale.
I also feel overall tired.
It would be great to hear if someone has an answer and some useful suggestions.

Note- Can safely rule out STDs- Not sexually active
Also, I am in the unenviable situation of changing from one university to another and am without health insurance for the next two weeks.

I think you should make a doctor's appt asap. It appears that you have a UTI that has gone to your kidneys. Best you put out the money for this to be on the safe side.
