OK so I got in trouble for unlawful possession of a controlled substance in the state of Kansas and was suppose to go to jail for 90 days but the judge dropped that and I just got put on misdemeanor probation for 12 months if I decided to just serve my jail sentence would I just do my time and be done with everything or would I have to do some other type of probation or parole?

You can not just "do your time" after the judge has ordered probation. You would have to go back to court and ask for a change in the sentence, at this point if they revoke your Probation you could serve up to 12 months
