Check the left front strut, half-axle constant velocity joints, and brake calipers. On many cars, the struts, wheel bearings, sway bar end links, sway bar bushings, outer tie-rods, and ball joints need to be replaced every 100,000 miles.
I suspect an issue with the CV joints. New Cardone Select half axles run around $50. Clunking is not a sound I would associate with a bad wheel bearing. Make sure the sound is not coming from the brake pads shifting in the caliper bracket.
Thank you very much my thoughts were the cv joint also just wanted to kind of confirm before starting the tear down
Keep in mind that you can rent for free large axle nut sockets (e.g. 36mm) from most auto parts stores. Loosen with an impact wrench or breaker bar, while the car is on the ground. Torque to spec, after installation.
