I am looking for the name of a movie I saw about a demon possession, the spirit I believe might have been a fallen priest that was also a math expert. While in a body it would constantly count or add using his fingers. That is how the people in the story were able to notice him. During one scene it was inside of an old lady in a home for the elderly.
This has been driving me nuts trying to recall this film.

A psychiatrist with unusual telepathic powers, Dr Michael Strother moves from Seattle to London after his treatment results in the death of a patient and a subsequent witch-hunt by the American media. Once in London, he inadvertently gets drawn into the plight of a young girl, Heather (Sophie Stuckey), who recently escaped from the clutches of a wanted serial killer known to police as the Tattoo Murderer. Since her ordeal, Heather hasn't spoken a word, but ambitious policewoman Janet Losey hopes that Michael can find a way to get her to open up and maybe reveal a clue as to the killer's whereabouts.
