Lower back is throbbing and can barely move
Yesterday my back suddenly started hurting and after that I have been barely able to move without crying with pain. It starts to throb and feels like my back has its own heartbeat at times, how can I make the pain go away?

Don't you think its time to see a doctor?

I never assumed it would be bad enough to see a doctor? I mean I don't want to waste their time

If you are in misery... you aren't wasting their time. Seriously.

Because there are other things that can manifest themselves as a lower back pain... like kidney issues... and certain other things...

You can try to soak in a hot bath with some Epsom salts for tonight... but if it continues tomorrow see a doctor... just in case.

I think I may have to then, the pain doesn't seem to be going away

The doctor is your best bet. Speaking as someone that's had chronic back issues since a car accident over 17 years ago, most over the counter drugs don't do a thing. Not only that, but Smoothy is right, there are many things that can cause back pain.

I often take robaxacit (sp?) when I have back pain, but that's just so that I get a tiny bit of relief until I can see my doctor.
