He shows on the title report as having some sort of an interest in the property? What interest would that be? Is the QCD shown in the title report?

We purchased the home together. We divorced and I got the house. I had to buy out his half of the equity and refinance. We signed a quit claim deed with attorneys, now years later he is claiming he is coming up on title search. I actually have not seen the title search, going by what he says. He said he can't get a good interest rate on anything because he shows on title. I have no problem getting a loan, six months ago traded in my car and have taken out a loan. Seems I would have the same problem as him. Spoke with my mortgage company and they don't see him on their title search. The mortgage loan was bought out by three different companies over the years, not sure if it's something with that.

It appears that your ex is misunderstanding what he has been told. You have had no problem getting a loan because, if such a title report exists, what it says about him doesn't affect you. If he is running into problems it is because, apparently, whoever he is going to for a loan doesn't understand how to interpret a title report.
