    Allergic Reaction to Piercing
Okay so I had my nose peirced, it was fine for about a month and a half. Then I got a big bump on it and it was infected. Come to find out I'm allergic to nickel, so what could I use in my nose so this dosen't happen again. Same thing with my belly button, it rejected out.

Okay, so you have to check every piece of jewelry you intend to wear to make sure it is either nickel and coated or does not contain nickel.

This is not an uncommon allergy.

Did you pierce it yourself, because you did suggest on another thread that someone pierce their own cartilage, like you did.

How did you find out that you're allergic to nickel, did you see an allergy specialist, or are you assuming because of the infection?

Not trying to be snide, but if you pierced this yourself, and didn't see a specialist to determine it's an allergy, I'd be willing to bet that the infection is because of unsterilized equipment you used.
