I have a big problem. I am on probation. I was given an ETG test last week. I wasn't worried about it at all. I didn't know what it was but I didn't drink a lick so I didn't think much into it. Then I got the call it as positive!! I really have no clue. I am freaking out because I didn't drink at all. I don't use mouthwash or medicine like NyQuil. I don't know what could have set I off. I do use hand sanitizer a lot. I do not know what kind I do flooring so I'm always using it. Could this be why? Or what else could set it off? Also I was thinking about it. When I took the test I did have a body wrap on. It was a thing that helps you lose sizes on your waist. I just heard people say it worked so I tried it. I did lose 2 inches on my waist though. Anyway I thought about that. I wore it for 72 hrs. I read the contents after I got the call. It does have alcohol on it. It never once crossed my mind... I just don't know what to think. Any help would be nice

You are prohibited from all forms of alcohol... not just drinking. And yeah.. as you've figured out.. its on you to make sure any and all products you use are alohol free.

Soap and water have been effective hand sanitizers for as along as soap has existed.

Hand sanitizer is made of alcohol. At the hospital I work at I have patients who ask for a cup of water. They pour the water out, fill the cup with hand sanitizer, add salt. Voilà... pure alcohol!
