    My dog need to gain some weight quickly. Because after having her first Liter of puppies 2yr ago. Its been really hard to gain weight. Can you help me please.

    This is best discussed with your vet. There could be an underlying issue that's causing her to not gain weight. If she's eating healthy, she shouldn't be underweight.

    Take her to the vet.

    Have you tried enervate? It's a supplement that I give my chihuahua when they're young to regain their appetite and to get them use to eating at a particular time. It's also used for chihuahua with low blood sugar. It's available at any petstore. There's enervate and vitavate. Both come in a tube.

    Is your dog indeed underweight? Society only sees fat chihuahuas and think that that is normal. Chihuahuas should have an hour glass figure. You should be able to feel the ribs and the back bone without seeing it. There should some padding, but not a lot.

    If she is indeed underweight, sometimes spaying them helps them gain back weight. Its pure myth that spaying/neutering makes your dog fat and lazy.. they will gain weight, but not a lot as long as you keep their activities the same.
