    Baby Turn
If a baby doesn't turn by 38 weeks is it necessary to get a c-section at 39 weeks even if the baby is doing fine?

Sometimes there isn't an option. I know midwives can massage a baby in the right direction, but sometimes timing doesn't allow that to happen.

The doctor or midwife can attempt to turn the baby but that is very painful, dangerous to the baby, and not guaranteed to work. So, most likely you will have a c-section at 39 weeks to prevent complications should you go into labor.
