How do you remove the fuel solenoid from a 18 hp Briggs & Straton

Hi,
Generally it will have flats that accept a thin wrench. My preferred method is with a pair of carb slip-joint pliers. They open to about 1/2" and are narrow. Not to endorse anybody in particular, but my pair came from Sears and cost between $15 - 20.
