    Child custody
I live in Nevada and I have two children with my ex-boyfriend. To me I believe that he is unfit because he hasn't grown up, constantly goes out and parties, drinks a lot, can't get his financial life situated and only see's the kids when he wants to, sometimes he could go days without seeing them. I live with my sister and don't make a lot of money but I am really the only one who takes care of the children on a day to day basis. So I was wondering if there was a chance that he could get joint custody?

He more than likely can if he fights hard enough but the courts can and more than likely will make him take a parenting class where he has to participate, learn about budgeting, and lots of other things, u can also ask the law inforcement to check up on the condition of the home environment if u think he is not taking care of them as a father should if he does get joint custody.

First you have to define what you mean by custody. Joint Custody generally means that both parents have equal say in how the child is raised. It doesn't mean that the child spends equal time with each parent. That's a matter of visitation.

So, he's likely to get joint custody on the grounds that he's the bio father. But he's not likely to get PHYSICAL Custody, just limited visitation.

Most likely yes he will get proper visitation with the child, you need to work out the best plan for everyone though the court and of course get court ordered child support
