Any time you have sex, protected or unprotected, you run the risk of pregnancy. I would suggest waiting until you are 10 days late and then using a HPT according to the directions.

It is also possible that you are worried about being pregnant and the stress has delayed your period.

Intercourse with or without protection is pretty much playing the odds, but I'm sure you know that.
