Hello I have had irregular periods my entire life I have 2 kids and 35. I haven't had sex since dec of 2012 and for the past week my breast have been very sore the have gotten bigger. I took a test it came out to be negative could this be right. If so what other reason could it be. No sign of a period at all
What test did you take? If no sex in over 3 months, I suppose you could be pregnant and not be showing yet, and the test either wasn't done right (morning urine) or you are a rare woman who doesn't test positive.
We get all sorts of symptoms that are associated with menstruation, pregnancy, and some with menopause too. But basically it's all about hormone fluctuations, something you seem to have had a lot of signs of all along. In very rare cases, there can be something else going on. But before you get all worried, get a blood test for pregnancy, and wait on any other signs, or this one going away. You could be about to get a period, or you could be skipping the bleeding but having the other signs. There's just no way to speculate with just this.
These boards are full of questions starting 'I didn't get my regular period and my breasts are very swollen; am I pregnant' and I think half are and half aren't.
It was a cheap test out of a dollar store and with my second child I didn't show positive on a test I got into an accident and found out that way. I'm having different signs just figured because the test came up negative that I would go with it but I guess its time for me to call my doctor and get a blood test cause something strange is going on with my body, thank you so much
