    Can I change a 15amp to a 20 amp ?
    Is it possiable to change a 15amp to a 20 amp breaker on 14/2 wire ? Thank you Electriod

    No, the 15 amp breaker rating protects the 14 Awg conductor size and insulation type from overcurrent events. Using a 20 amp breaker will not trip in time to prevent wire heat degradation and fire hazard conditions. If you can string a new 12-2 w/ground nmb cabling from the panelboard 20 amp breaker to the new outlet, will be the safest bet.nm
